FINISHED

Digital Imaging Class 2 was super fun! It was a tough and rigorous course however. Once we got our game going & finished all the hard parts, it was nice to see our game finished. Creating & editing your game was very aggravating at times. I think everyone did a great job on creating an educational game. It was a bit disappointing knowing that a person from Globaloria didn't show up but they were able to watch live via computer. It was cool presenting our game & showing the class the hard work we put forth into our game. It's kind of sad knowing that this class is over but I am truly grateful & happy I chose to take this class. It was a wonderful experience that will help me in the future.

Game Progress as of 4-29-10

Our game is almost finished! Yayy!Pretty much everything is working: the car is moving, the road is scrolling, the points are working, the beer bottles have hit tests, all buttons are working, real life statistics on d.u.i's & fatalities, & all sound effects are working. I'm pretty excited for everyone to view & play our game! We worked really hard on it & hopefully it will show. We do have a little more to do though, like add a timer & create barriers for the car. Hope you like it! Enjoy! :D

game progress 4-22-10

Our game is coming along just fine. The game is pretty much finished except for the fact we still have to change the beer bottles to have hit tests & hurt your score. The background is moving, giving the illusion that the car is actually moving. Also, there are statistics that pop up on the win/lose screen. We still need to add sound though. Our game will definitely be ready in time for presentations.

Game Progress as of 4-16-10

Progress of our game is going quite well. We have pretty much the main points and ideas packed down. The car can finally move! We'll just have to add the "enemies" and creating a smooth transitions from one level to the next level.

Adding Navigation

So far, our game is going pretty well. I believe that the progress being made is good for our timing. Our game will be pretty interactive & thanks to the help of Ms. Spencer, our game is going more smoothingly. I think our game will be great but we still have lots to do.

adding navigation

Write about this topic? Was it hard? Fun? Both?
Find a video online to embed on your blog dealing with your game topic. Why did you choose this video?

Today we learned about adding navigation to our games in class. It was very informative about how to make your game more interactive & helped to create buttons. It was really easy.
Here is a video concerning my game topic. It'll be somewhat how the game will be set up. I chose this video because it related to my game.
